Tina and Chris' moody modern Cabo suite

After Christina and I’s initial call about her wedding stationery, we were both totally aligned on her vision- moody but tropical, modern but romantic, boho but with geometric shapes- I immediately had a vision for what I wanted to create for their fall wedding at Acre Baja in San Jose Del Cabo, Mexico.

We used super-thick dramatic black paper, a geometric trifold insert, and pops of glam with metallic gold foil — this was a bit of a departure from the clean whites and bright colors we tend to display on our feed, but we were ready to explore this striking aesthetic and make some magic.

We highlighted the important details in our absolute favorite way, with custom spot calligraphy by Nicole Miyuki. We love how the crisp white foil pops on the dark grey custom die-cut trifold, and the shimmering gold foil jumps out against the stark black invitation. And do you see those subtle palms pressed into the corners? A signature Swell Press move, with a new twist.
