Inspired by the hills of St. Helena, California. 4 letterpress ink colors, printed by hand on a 1966 flatbed cylinder press.

No two prints are alike, and each print is unique in ink coverage and saturation. Aiming for an authentic ‘by hand’ look, ink consistencies, color, and registration vary from print to print. Printed areas have an organic, suede-like appearance.

Due to the mechanics of letterpress printing, the paper and impression area is slightly bowed. This will flatten out in framing.

Letterpress inks and certain pigments fade over time. For the best longevity of your print, it is highly recommended to hang your print away from direct sunlight, and behind UV protective glass.

Each press is signed and dated in pencil. Ships by the week of December 6th.

Suggested frame: 11 x 14 floating glass frame. We suggest THIS one in natural or graywash wood.

This print was printed on a cream / off-white paper. Floating frames or professional color-match matting is recommended. Pure white (stock) matting will make the paper appear yellow and is not recommended.
